G.Skill DDR3-2000 3x2GB F3-16000CL9T-6GBTD

Tech Spec:
Capacity: 6GB (3 x 2GB)
Speed: DDR3 2000 (PC3 16000)
Timing: 9-9-9-24-2N
Voltage: 1.65V
ECC    No

19x200 (turbo disabled) RAM @ 1600 CAS8-8-8-8-20 1T

This kit can run 1600 at CAS6-7-6-18 1.65v, but didn't have time to play around with the timings cause I was just too excited to overclock the i7 920 more. I'll be adding the screenshot of it running at 1600 at CAS6-7-6-18 1.65v in the future.

20x170 (turbo disabled) RAM @ 1700 CAS8-8-8-8-20 1T

20x180 (turbo disabled) RAM @ 1800 CAS9-9-9-9-20 1T

18x213 (turbo disabled) RAM @ 1700 CAS8-8-8-8-20 1T

I've noticed that this kit runs warm, never hot in all my tests, even without active cooling.

Specs:
Intel i7 920 D0 @ 3.8Ghz 18x213
-Cooled by: Prolimatech Megashadow
Gigabyte X58-UD5 (F9E)
G.Skill Trident DDR3-2000 3x2GB @ 1700 8-8-8-20
MSI 5850 1GB DDR5
1 640GB Western Digital WD6401AALS
2 1TB Western Digital WD1001FALS
Creative SB X-Fi Titanium
Corsair 620HX 620W PSU
Coolermaster HAF 932

LOL! I don't have this kit with me anymore. Sold it and got a new set.

If you need a kit that can run any speeds between DDR3-1600 and DDR3-2000 and with a tight budget, I would recommend this kit.

I'm not too sure about that, cause on my Gigabyte X58-UD5 i never encountered any problems. It booted up fine, all dimms detected, 6GB.

@Woody

Nice! I wonder what QPI was needed for the memory clock of 1000Mhz+

You have to manually set it to run at your desired speed, but remember that once you go over a certain speed you need more QPI/VTT voltage. If you want to run the Ram at DDR3-2000, you'll need more QPI Voltage. Which I never tried, cause I'm just after everyday i7 920 at 3.6Ghz, Mems (QPI voltage) at minimal OC.

Leave your CPU Clock Ratio to [21]
BCLK [Enabled or Disabled]
BCLK Frequency [133]

X.M.P [Disabled]
System Memory Multiplier [set it at x8]
I suggest, set your RAM timings to 9-9-9-20, vDIMM to 1.65v.

In the Memory Frequency, say you have 1600, then your Uncore Frequency should be around 3200Mhz or 3400Mhz.

3.50GB of Ram...bro you must be still using 32bit Windows XP. You need 64bit OS to detect Ram above 4GB.

Yes it's fine. But for 24/7 or everyday use your QPI/VTT is kinda high bro...1.52v

you can run lower speed and lower CAS for everyday use.
