G.Skill DDR2-1100 2x2GB F2-8800CL5D-4GBPI
-4GB (2 x 2GB)
-DDR2 1100
-Timings 5-5-5-15
-1.8.-1.9v Rating

Another great kit by G.Skill. I've been using this kit before I was able to get my hands on the G.Skill DDR2-1200 kit. This kit also run warm jut like the 1200 kit, but never hot. I use this also on my Q9650/Gigabyte UD3R build. Yes, very stable!

DDR2-1125 at 1.92v (idle) 1.9v (load)

DDR2-1133 at 1.92v (idle) 1.9v (load) This was for everyday use.

Specs:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650
Gigabyte EP45-UD3R Rev.1.1
G.Skill DDR2-1100 2x2GB

Hi danding! Welcome to the thread.

I suggest getting something better than what you have. I saw your post on the Intel thread that you plan to OC the E8400.
If so you need ram that can be overclocked and/or be stable at overclocking.

That kit you posted is also good. That's the new one, with new heat spreaders, but basically they probably used the same IC's as the one's I've used in the past.
Go ahead and get them! Smiley

Yup. I the IC's of this kit and also the 1200 PI kit are better than the one's on the trident.

@Woody,

At what voltages (vdimm/vMCH) did they need to run it at 1200?

@X

Vdimm = 2.2V (BIOS)

Other (chipset related) settings were at default...

HTH.
